David Dorfman Dance will be presented by Hamilton College in a public performance, Wellin Hall, Schambach Center, Hamilton College, Clinton, NY on February 27, 2027 at 7:30pm.

‘truce songs’ employs David Dorfman’s trademark style which merges athletic dancing with poignant emotion. It uses movement, text, live/original music and visual design to honor truce with self, with others and the works as we watch dancing bodies serve as conduits for momentary peace.

Founded in 1987, this season marks the 40th Anniversary of the David Dorfman Dance Company. The company has performed throughout the world: North and South America, Great Britain, and Central Asia. The company regularly performs in New York City.

“To get the whole world dancing” has been at the core of DDD’s mission. They strive to promote the appreciation and critical understanding of dance by bring the company to diverse audiences.
