Two programs of Music, Dance and Dance Theater in Fulton County, Summer 2026
The Caroga Arts Music Festival Presents “A Syncopated Life: A Tale for Leroy” on Thursday, July 2nd, 2026, 8:00 pm, Sherman’s Park, Caroga Lake, Fulton County, NY. An original theater, dance and music production curated by director Kyle Price based around the iconic music of American composer legend, Leroy Anderson, featuring Alex Moffat, Caroline Kingsley, Brian Shank along with the Caroga Arts Ensemble, Dennis J Clark, Utica Dance members Maya Brown and Bailey Harrer and Nancy Long, Artistic Director of Utica Dance. The orchestra of thirty-five musicians sets the tone playing familiar classics while movement and theater performers tell the tale in the fashion of silent movie.

Sergei Prokofiev’s beloved tale comes to life with live music and dance. Featuring Utica Dance and the Caroga Arts Ensemble, this family-friendly performance is both enchanting and educational. For decades, Peter and the Wolf has been an ideal introduction to storytelling through music and dance. The young, and young at heart audience will be delighted by the sixteen member ensemble and the cast of dancers in this lively and colorful performance. “Kids Carousel Concert” is a FREE family-friendly event. Activities and a free carousel ride after.
