Entering its thirteenth season in summer 2024, the Caroga Lake Music Festival will combine artists in music, dance and the visual arts together for 5 weeks of performances in Fulton County. The full season will include Caroga Arts Collective’s own musicians and classical and popular musicians from around the country. The inclusion of original dance choreography has been a focal point for one mainstage production for four of the past summer festivals. Kyle Barrett Price and friends will weave together a program of luscious and intriguing new and older chamber music. Nancy Long, as dance curator for an evening of dance and music, will bring together the creative choreography of two regional choregraphers; Lindsey LaFountain and Anthony Salatino. The full evening piece will be commissioned by Caroga Arts Collective and made possible with funds from the NYS DanceForce and the generous donations of local residents.

Following an intense two-week choreographic workshop in July, the dancers will be joined by musicians for the final four days prior to the premieres of the new dances, to be performed (tentatively) in the Glove Theater in Gloversville, NY and Schaffer Theater, Mohawk Valley Community College, Utica, NY July 26 and 28 (times to be confirmed).
